Claude is currently my primary AI tool of choice (I also use Lumo AI) . I use all the features in different ways to best help my productivity.

Originally I was using the free tier but then upgraded to pro which allowed me to use more complex models and have longer conversations
Claude Chat
I use Claude Chat as a direct replacement for Google Search with a bit more context. I use it with an AI dictation tool called Wispr Flow when I can't be bothered to type.
This is generally for one-off simple questions, e.g. "I want to add some simple consent management to a website. The website is built on React.js and Next.js and hosted in Vercel, and I need a free alternative, something like One Trust, but it has to be free completely. Could you please list out, in a tabular form, all free potential One Trust alternatives that I can use in my website for cookie consent?"
Claude Cowork
In Claude Cowork I use two main features: scheduling and projects. I have several daily schedules that I have created that generate a daily digest of information for me at 8am. I also have specific projects around business, API and technology where I have focused questions and discussions.
One of my schedules is a AI digest which gives me a summary of the latest information in AI. Here's an example of a summary:

Claude Code
Here's is where I perform the most intense work with Claude. I mainly create web applications, and some mobile apps. I actually recreated this entire site using Claude Code.
I start any work in Claude Code by using plan mode ensuring that I have provided enough detail and then recursively checking the output of the plan before committing and moving to Accept edits
As I have a Claude.md with some templated instructions any code change I make follows a set pattern including branch naming conventions. Also I sometimes use the Claude Code extension with Visual Studio Code however this is becoming more rare.
Claude Design
For all of the above areas I use the Claude Desktop app however for Claude design I use the web application or website. I've used Claude design to help me create an end to end design system prototype from scratch, something which would take me weeks previously if not months.

This allows me to create the basis for a simple design system and then to iterate it further to apply onto applications and branding.
